Le
Shire
has much to offer for the holiday maker. Although in quite a remote
location, there is much to see within a short drive. The village of
Villemorin is very quiet and local facilities are virtually
non-existant. this makes for a very quiet and unspoilt area. There are
no bars, shops, rail services or local bus service. A car is essential
for this location.

This is part of the
main lounge area, in here we have a CD player, TV with Video and DVD
player and log burning stove. There is access to the kitchen and the
outside patio area from here. |

This is the pool at Le Shire. It is fully enclosed and is
located at the bottom of the garden. The location and enclosure keeps
it safe for small children to enjoy the garden. There are sun-loungers
available for around the pool area and a number of inflatables for
younger members of the family if required. The pool is fully maintained
by our 'pool guy' Bernie. Please be aware there may be sunbathing Gecko lizards joining you during the hottest times of the day. |

There are three bedrooms at Le Shire. 2 x twin bedrooms. 1 x double bedroom. The picture on the right shows the stunning view from the main bedroom window. All bedrooms have ample storage space. |

Externally, there is a fully enclosed garden with gravel
driveway. The garden may tend to be less green in the summer months
when temperatures are in the mid to high 90's. There are some games
available for in the garden, boules, badminton rackets and football for
the energetic. Otherwise, a patio table and chairs and barbeque for the
less energetic. |

The nearest town is Aulnay and is the nearest place to shop,
dine out and fill up the car with petrol. There is an excellent
restaurant 'Le Columbier' and also markets on a Thursday and Sunday.
Aulnay is only a small place, but all you need can be found in the
central area, the newsagents also sell English newspapers, should you
wish to know the rainfall levels back home. |
